The Carolina Bulldogs Stumbled in the final minutes last week against the Rattlers. The Bulldogs squandered a 13-0 lead on miscues and penalties. Near the end the Bulldogs had the power to keep the lead and run out the clock but a thoughtless personal foul set the Rattlers up for the go-ahead score. With two minutes remaining the Bulldogs were threatening but could not get the ball in from the five yardline. A crucial situation that simply wasn't executed. The Bulldogs are hoping to learn from mistakes and finish opponents for the rest of the season.

This week in what becomes a crucial game for the Bulldogs, we travel (again) north (again) to face the undefeated and surging Rampage. the Rampage have defeated the Rattlers, The Titans, the Mustangs and the Ravens. All scores were very similar to Bulldogs scores against the same opponents and have lead many to think that these are two very evenly matched teams. This may be another dog fight. With a win the Bulldogs would have one of the best records in the league and the tie breaker over the Rampage, with a loss the Bulldogs essentially lose a step on the Rattlers as well since the Rattlers have the first tie-breaker on the Bulldogs. The CCFL is fairly even this year top to bottom, every single game is a piece of the championship.

Game time 4:00 pm Saturday August 23, 2008-this is an unlit field.
BULLDOG PLAYERS & COACHES: All Bulldog players will meet in the parking lot of Walmat on J.M. Keynes Drive off of Harris Blvd. in the university area of Charlotte BY 1:30PM. We will leave TOGETHER at 1:45PM. Players are directed to call coach Price NOW with any issues 704.307.9561.Our dress code has not changed. We will wear our gold uniforms with black socks. Please remember your mouthpieces and such we no longer have a supply on the sidelines.
